Adopt-a-Cabin

Luther Village is an essential part of the ministry of the MNO Synod of the ELCIC. Congregations, families or individuals have the opportunity to share in the future care and development of this beautiful and meaningful Christian ministry. You can choose to do this jointly with another congregation, or alone.

A. Adopt an existing cabin: ensure the proper maintenance of that cabin and all its furnishings (minimum $1000).

B. Build a new cabin: choose to build a new cabin with complete furnishing (approximately $35,000 - $50,000 or other options). *At the discretion of the camp board.

Adopt-a-Cabin Guidelines
The congregation/organization would be responsible for all general maintenance and upkeep of an existing building and furnishings. It is estimated that the cost to “Adopt-a-Cabin” will not exceed $1,000 per year. Should the cost exceed $1,000 the congregation/organization may expend the cost on their own or approach the Luther Village Board for financial assistance.

Projects and upgrades will be approved by the Executive Director and/or the Property Committee.
